99 an hour POSITION Overview:
Performs production and packaging processes while ensuring compliance to cGMPs and all applicable statutes and regulations.
REPORTS TO:
Packaging Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Actively seek methods for continuous improvement within GMP guidelines and bring ideas forward to upper management.
Promote a positive work environment and strive to motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance and quality.
Proper interpretation and implementation of FDA 21 CFR part 111 as it relates to the department.
Follow company procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and FDA requirements to maintain conformance while adhering to company policies.
Review documentation and ensure compliance with cGMPs and safety practices.
Maintain high quality standards that align with Quality Department's guidelines with an attention to continuous improvement and higher efficiency.
Identify ways to reduce company's environmental impact, through reducing waste, carbon emissions, or extending the life of resources through reuse as relevant to department and duties.
Measuring/weighing product Filling finished product into the appropriate containers Capping containers Labeling containers Sealing lids Boxing individual containers Boxing cases Stacking pallets Cleaning work surfaces Cleaning equipment and tools Cleaning facility Conducting preventative maintenance REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and skills normally acquired through education or related experience and/or training.
Possess knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.
Knowledge of cGMPs and applicable Quality System Standards.
Knowledge of botanical uses and expertise in botanical production processes and equipment.
Computer proficiency with ability to work required programs.
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
A wide degree of creativity, flexibility and latitude is expected.
A good understanding of the mechanics and operation of the equipment in the department.
Identify ways to reduce company's environmental impact, through reducing waste, carbon emissions, or extending the life of resources through reuse as relevant to department and duties.
Detail oriented with superb organizational and planning skills.
Practice discretion and keep sensitive information confidential.
Ability to accurately measure fluids and solids.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as capping.
Attention to detail Ability to follow spoken and written instructions in English.
Competency in basic math.
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
A wide degree of creativity, flexibility and latitude is expected.
Ability to operate basic tools and equipment provided by the company after sufficient training.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Lab environment with specialized equipment that is cGMP compliant.
May walk, bend, stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
repeatedly, on a continuous basis.
Position requires working in a facility that processes a wide variety of plants that may have strong odors.
Facility uses bleach and other cleaning products that may possess pungent odors.
